Friday night was sesi soal jawab between the students and DPM.
Whilst Saturday night, we had a Dinner with the DPM.
The only difference between both nights really was the 1st night, there were more media and long speeches. Saturday night was more to performances and prize giving.
What was i doing that two nights? No, I wasnt those people who just sit around and had fun those two nights. I mean, i did have fun that nights just that i didnt really sit around and mingle. Going there as a guest.
I had a tag that says "Support Staff". haha. Well, Friday was more relaxing. I did sit and eat with everyone else. I only had to do the reception and i did get to shake hand with the DPM and his wifey when we welcomed them! hehehe
Saturday was the hectic ones i suppose. Firstly, there were gate crashers like a LOT of em. fifty people i suppose? most of them were postgrads students. They warned us that there will be gate crashers and they did warn us that there might be a lot of em. Well the first problem actually started because the organizer, the team who jaga DPM (under the kerajaan) and the golf comittee had an internal fights about the quota of students that can attend the dinner. at first it was 300 students then it went down to 160 student. and then it went up to 200students. but then rumours has it that it went up again to 300 students. really sux. i know.
Oh, are u wondering why i said the golf comittee? Because the DPM came here not only for a work visit but also he hold the charity golf tournament as well.
Back to that nights, Hazra got scolded by this one mum when she didnt let that woman go in because there were complications and not enought sits for everyone. I only did the reception for a while but then i cant be bothered really cuz i could see a problem coming ahead and i dun really wanna be in the frontier. I pity Ucop, the guy behind all of this.
I could see that he was such in a really2 stress mode that two nights. But he did a great job with the dinner though. I really2 great job.
After that hectic reception. Ucop put me down as the hostess, the ones who were suppose to escort the VVIP when they want to give a speech or give out presents on the stage. At the beginning of the night it was suppose to be Me, Hazra and this other girl, N. But then, guess what? At the end of the night it ended up being me and this another girl, A. There was a big chunk part during the night when it was me ALONE!
seriously, they should have my picture in every camera that took pictures that night man. I will be so furious if there are none of my pictures on the stage with DPM. hahahahaha...
So tired la weih. and quite memalukan also on the stage.
