I miss listening to orchestra instruments..

Hello Peeps!

I am back! :) Sorry for the sudden vanish of the blog. However, I have decided to restored it back again. Anyway, this stressed situation is really tiring me down. But all is good. Only left Accounting Information System which I hate and Financial Planning left to do on Monday and Tuesday. It's going to be multiple choice question for Financial Planning so that's a bonus.

I miss those old times when I would spend all my afternoon in the music room with my band mates la. Form 1 til Form 5. From having most of the guys in the classes in the band up til only left me and Zaim je. From playing trumpet to E flat horn to French Horn. You must thought that when I say band mates it's those music groups with drums, electric guitars and basses right?

My coolest memories that are safely kept in my mind are having music classes in form 3 when I was playing the trumpet. I can still remember those clowns in the classes making fun while we were trying to rehearse the Wedding March. Those were the days huh.

There was also the Japan Trip when I was form 4. Where we went to a high school in Japan and had to home-stayed with one of the kids in the band. I remember my Japanese sister Megumi Hato. Her dad carried a dictionary to talk to me. Even her grandma. She gave me cookies that she bought from Disneyland. They had two houses besides each other. One was the family's and another was the dad's mom. The grandma's house was like a pure classic Japanese style house. She has the most beautiful garden a person can have. It even went in the Garden Magazine over there.

Another memories would be performing the Royal KTJ Orchestra Concert with guest artist Ning Baizura. I think we had some of the Negeri Sembilan royalties that day. Can't really remember. It was when I was in form 5 I think. Also those workshop with the UM guys. And also when we hosted a workshop, we had Mr Rejab from Gerhana Ska Cinta as our teacher. Mr Rejab was also there at the Royal Concert. Tak pernah kot main untuk artis. That was one of the most memorable moments lah when I was in KTJ Band.
I found this article about the concert (the link is hiding, couldn't change the colour); Ning and Young Musicians at the Royal Concert

Well, I keep calling it a band because when I first came into the school. We only had like a really few people playing it. Then came more students in the group up until I was in Form 5 it became an orchestra.
Just hearing the sound of flute or violin or even a trumpet would be sufficient right now to make me happy. Of course I would be even happier to listen to a full orchestra. Maybe I should make a visit at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra this holiday. Should call Uncle M to see if I can get tickets to awesome shows. hehe. Which kinda remind me of the day when I had workshops with the MPO. That was fun as well.

The last time I played an orchestra instrument would be when I was an exchange student. That would be three years ago wouldn't it? That's so long ago. I wish I could play my french horn on the beach again. heh. I just realize that I want to do so many things nowadays. But the things that I want to do is impossible because everything way out of line from each other. I think I still want to play unique instrument like french horn but that means I have to join an orchestra because it would be so weird to play a french horn on its own ( i've tried, seriously). I would also like to bake everyday. But also I cant wait to start working. How can I fit all these and still play the piano and guitar and read my story books and even blog?

I'm such an over achiever lah. heh.
I'm hungry. Think I'm gonna cook Rice and Sambal Sardine today.
Toodles!
